Carol Lee Lewis passed away February 5, 2021 at Valley Memorial Hospital, Yakima, WA. She was born December 20, 1964 to Mary Lou Owen and Mike J. Lewis in Toppenish, WA. She was a proud member of the Yakama Nation. She was relentless in her lifetime pursuits. Very active from cheerleading while in high school and Yakima Sun Kings. She graduated from White Swan High School in 1983. She led a very active life as a legal secretary, park ranger, Fort Simcoe Job Corps, to temporary real estate office assistant. She received her AA from Yakima Valley College, nearly completing her education in accounting at Central WA University. Carol also enjoyed participating in basketball and softball, traveling to various tournaments throughout Native Country. Growing up Carol enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles with friends in White Swan, reading and listening to music. Other hobbies Carol had were fishing, cutting wood and camping. She is survived by her sons, Victor J. Watlamet and Clarence Tahkeal II, parents, Mary Lou and Jack Owen, siblings, Mike L. Lewis, Janna Lewis-Clark, Myron Lewis, Jacob Lewis and Marisa Owen. She has several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles cousins from the Rabanal and Lewis families. She was proceeded in death by her father, Mike J. Lewis, son Andrew F. Sampson, grandparents Felix and Edna Rabanal and Lester and Lenora Lewis, uncles, Lloyd & Leonard Rabanal and Aunt Glenora Rabanal. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12 to 3 pm, graveside services Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 10 am at Wapato Reservation Community Memorial Park.
