Catherine M. Eneas-Squeochs (49) of Wapato passed away on June 8, 2019. Catherine was born in Yakima on February 20, 1970 to William and Rose (Yemowat) Eneas. She was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation and was raised and educated on her family ranch in White Swan. She was a longhouse cook, gatherer and participated at the longhouse. She is survived by her husband, Cyrus Dick Squeochs of Wapato; three children, James Elwell Eneas, Ella Adams and Justin Yliniemi; a brother, Captain Eneas; two sisters, Vera Hoptowit and Mary Jane Eneas. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, David and sister, Susan. Dressing services will be at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 1PM with overnight services following. Sunrise services will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery on Thursday. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
