Darlene K. Santiago (30) of Wapato passed away in Toppenish on Wednesday January 18, 2017. Darlene was born on May 31, 1986 to Salomon and Helen (Brown) Santiago in Toppenish. She was raised and educated in the Lower Valley and was a member of the Yakama Nation. She was a homemaker and was attending college. She enjoyed going to yard sales, spending time with her family, traditional tribal activities and was a very spiritual person. She is survived by her mother, Pearl Weston; two brothers, Dana and Angelo Weston; five children, Salomon, Margarita, Julieana and Evangelina Santiago and Mase Weston. Darlene was preceded in death by her father and a sister. Dressing services will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at 1PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Overnight services will be at the White Swan Independent Shaker Church with burial at 9AM Saturday at the Abraham Cemetery in White Swan. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
