Frederick A. Hansen III (51) of Toppenish passed away outside of Toppenish on June 15, 2016. Frederick was born in Yakima on February 23, 1965 to Ervin and Angie (White) Hansen. He was educated in Yakima and attended Davis High School. He worked in fish processing, painting, and was an equipment operator and foreman in the construction industry. He will be remembered as a hard worker who loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Tahmalwash) Hansen of Toppensih; three daughters, Jamie (Dan) Holmes of Satus, Katie Hansen of Yakima and Roberta (Anthony) George of Toppenish; two sons, Anthony Wood of Shelton and Frederick Hansen IV of Yakima; three brothers, Alan, Walter and Ervin Hansen; and four sistersMeda, Sarah, Lou, and Kathy Hansen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charlie and Lawrence. Dressing services will be at the Toppenish Longhouse on Friday June 17, 2016 at 11AM. Overnight services will follow with burial at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery outside of White Swan on Saturday at 7AM. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
