Keenan P. John (32) of Toppenish passed away at his home on Saturday January 16, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born in Yakima on December 28, 1983 to Raymond and Patricia (Puyette) John. Keenan was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation and graduated with honors from White Swan High School. He worked for the Yakama Nation in the IT department and for Yakama Forest Products. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and listening to oldies. He is survived by his wife, Leanae John of Toppenish; his parents, Pat & Allen Frank of Toppenish; two daughters, Alexa John of Yakima and Tsi'nauni John of White Swan; three sisters, Fionna John of Wapato, Kendra John of Yakima and Tanera John of Toppenish and numerous nieces and nephews. Keenan was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; his brother, Conal; and his sister, Alicia. Viewing will be held on Tuesday Janaury 19, 2016 at the Toppenish Community Center with burial to immediately follow at the Yemowat Cemetery west of Union Gap.
