Kelly Michael Zick

Went to join the creator in heaven on July 20, 2015.
He was born in Yakima Washington on April 19, 1999 to
Edward and Irene (Sampson) Zick. Kelly was a member of
the Yakama Nation and enrolled student at Toppenish
High School Class of 2018. Kelly loved the outdoors,
hunting, fishing, camping, or just plain hanging out
in our mountains with the friends and family especially
his dad, mom, brothers, sister. His passion in life was
to be the best at anything he did namely sports.
He was active in cross country, track, soccer and especially
basketball. Kelly had alot of respect for his coaches and
love for his teammates (brothers). He meet and made alot of
friends along the way from traveling to basketball tournaments
in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. He wanted to enter into
the Marine Corp after graduation to follow in is uncles foot
steps LCPL Joe Michael Jackson whom he missed alot and respected.
Kelly will be truly missed by everyone that we had the pleasure
to share him with, his quick wit and humor, his smile, his out
going nature, his friendship, and overall love for everyone.
Every time you seen Kelly he had that smile for you a hug and there
was always an "I love you" before he left you. Kelly had many
moms, dads, and brothers from his basketball family that he loved
dearly.
Kelly is survived by his parents: Edward and Irene Zick, Brother Khristian
(and Racine) Zick, his sister Kaleea Zick. His maternal grandparents:
Louis and Grace Sweowat Jr of Harrah. Darrell L Sampson of Wapato. His
paternal grandparents: Edward and Joyce Zick of Redmond Oregon. His Aunts:
Lillian and Lorena Sweowat and Eva Tulee of Harrah Sarah Yallup of Yakima, Kim and
Tracy Zick of Arizona, special cousins Jessie Dakota Stella & Steve Bueno Joey Danny
Tyler and Karlee Zick. His nephews Theseus, Xandar, and Adrian and niece Yvaine all from Toppenish.

He was preceeded in death by his Maternal Great Grandfathers Leslie H Wahsise
and Isaac Sampson, His Paternal Great Grandmother Evelyn Zick,
His namesake Aunt Kelly P Zick; His Uncle LCPL Joe Michael Jackson
Services will be as follows: dressing and waashat services at Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday starting at 1PM. Overnight services will be held at the AJ Strom Gym for a last possible viewing and burial to
his last resting place to follow at McCoy Cemetery at 7AM in Toppenish, WA
