“Oh, what love! Oh, the Glory Of It All! For I have right here. Right here, in my heart. This great treasure within.” Mary Elizabeth Fauth peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 83 with her husband, son, and daughter by her side. She writes: “The greatest degree one can attain, in this life, is the honor of being born again of God’s Incorruptible Seed and becoming the offspring of God’s Heavenly Adam, which is Jesus Christ.” Here on this earth she was the best example of love and beauty as a Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandma and Great-Grandma! Everyone she met and knew was touched by her love, a love that came from her savior, Jesus Christ. Her heart was open and so were her doors. Alongside her husband Sam, she would selflessly take in and care for anyone who needed help, being hospitable to many families through the years and many animals as well! Her generosity knew no bounds. She saw and loved the beauty of God’s creation, from the beautiful roses she grew in her garden, to the majestic mountains she painted on her fences. She was adventurous and full of life. She loved backpacking through the mountains, and always made everyone around her laugh with her silly pranks and sense of humor. As a young adult Mary lived in Israel for about three years where she learned to read Hebrew. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Effie Dugger, of Jerusalem, Israel, and by her sister Orabelle Youngs. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 60 years, Sam Fauth; her precious children: Tammie and Rick Schlenker, Gary and Jackie Fauth, Susan and Chris Henderson, and Sandra Fauth; her grandchildren: Solomon, Jordan (Katie), Jessica (Andrew), Drake (LauRen), Marcus (Kendra), and her great grandchildren: Joy, Anna, Myla, Archer, Eden and Christopher. She also leaves behind a precious brother (Andy Dugger) and sister (Naomi Ruth Fauth), as well as many beloved extended family members and friends. We rejoice with her because her trials are no more, and she is once again able to run, jump, explore and, more importantly, see her Jesus face to face. She writes: “Jesus Is God’s Heavenly Light, God’s Heavenly Love, and God’s Heavenly Life, shining forth within our hearts. Heavenly Light consumes darkness, Heavenly Love casts out hate (fear), and Heavenly Life swallows up death!” Praise the Lord! Please join us in our celebration of Mary’s life at The Toppenish Church of God 7th Day, 120 North A Street, on January 13th at 2 pm.
