Matthew I. Munoz (20) of Toppenish passed away on Monday October 7, 2019 in Yakima. Matthew was born on February 10, 1999 to David Munoz and Marty Salgado. He was educated in Toppenish and Wapato and attended the White Swan Job Corps where he studied Heavy Equipment Operating and Masonry. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, video games and music. He is survived by his mother, Martylynn Salgado of Minneapolis, MN; his father and stepmother, David and Priscilla Munoz of Toppenish; his grandmother, Millie Cerda of Toppenish; one sister, BriAnna Rondan of Yakima; five brothers, Sparrowhawk Shale, Winterhawk, Albert, Jesse and James Munoz all of Toppenish; and his aunt, Lori Salgado-Romero of Yakima. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Visitation was held at Colonial Funeral Home. Heggie’s Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
