Michelle L. Carmen (48) of Toppenish died at home on Wednesday April 6, 2016. Michelle was born on April 24, 1967 in Belle Fourche, SD to Earl J. and Linda (Lipp) Hicks. Michelle graduated in 1985 from Toppenish High School and worked as a waitress/bartender at the Cattleman's, the Prosser VFW and Eagles. She worked in her family well drilling business in Idaho from 1994-2000. They managed Whitney Farms in Benton City from 2000-2008. She enjoyed going to the casino, rock hunting, singing and listening to music. She is survived by her husband, James David Carmen of Toppenish; her father, Earl Jay Hicks of Salina, KS; three children, Josh, Jason, Jamie and Bobby Carmen; a brother, Danny Hicks and a sister, Kristi Jo Brownlee.
