Stephanie A. Curtis (34) of Wapato passed away on Sunday January 7, 2018 north of Ellensburg. Stephanie was born on December 13, 1983 to Ricardo Ayala and Julie Curtis. She was raised and educated in Wapato. She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed walking, spending time with her children and her coffee. She will be remembered as a fun loving free spirit who loved her family. Stephanie worked as a laborer and a housekeeper. She is survived by her husband, Ebigael Torres of Sequim; her parents, Ricardo and Alma Ayala of Wapato and Julie Curtis of Tacoma; three children, David Ayala, Yareliana and EsiEden Torres all of Sequim; and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday January 15, 2018 from 3-6PM with recitation of the rosary at 5PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church at 10AM with interment to follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park west of Wapato. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
