She relocated to Sacramento, CA and obtained her associates degree at MIT Business College. Susan had multiple jobs over the years she was never satisfied with one thing. She wanted to know and do everything as soon as she mastered one thing she was ready to move onto the next. She had a career in Accounting, Heavy Equipment Operating, Server, Machine Attendant, Cashiering, her last job was a Bus Driver in Wapato School District, and she was working on her CDL for truck driving. Susan had many hobbies, passions and loves. Her love for animals was immense they were her friends whom she deeply cared for and she talked to every day. She loved gardening and dreamed of one day owning a farm or ranch. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to the mountains and river as much as possible. She treated everyday as an adventure, she did not make plans or have a lot of money, she just did things on a whim. She loved music and got to enjoy a lot of concerts the last past 5 years. Another of Susan’s many passions was her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the many other children she came across. If she felt, you needed her she was yours. She had a huge heart that was always giving to those in need of love. Susan is survived by her nine children Tamera Jo, Lola, Johnnie, Nigel Wyman, Joe De Luna, Silas, Dan, Madeline, and Ginnie McJoe. Susan knew a lot of people had many acquaintances and friends, but for those who really knew her knew she enjoyed her own space, peace and quiet. Life is never easy and Susan had overcome many obstacles and hardships from life. As bleak and despair as it was she would move on and never give up. She would have her down moments but pick right back up. Susan was full of admirable strength and did not let anything get her down including her battle with cancer. She was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and relied on him for all her strength. Her battle with cancer was long and hard at times but she had faith in our Lord that he would not abandon her in her time of need and only give her what she could handle. In the end her prayers were for the Lord to battle her fight for her and he did he took her home and said you do not have to fight no more. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday September 21 from 10AM to 12PM at Colonial Funeral Home in Toppenish. Burial to follow at 1PM at Reservation Community Memorial Park.
