Suzanne N. Quaempts (59) of Wapato passed away on April 3, 2018 in Selah. Suzanne was born in Toppenish on May 8, 1958 to Benny Quaempts and Delores Bennett-Miller. Suzanne was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation and was raised and educated in the lower valley. She was an accomplished beadworker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and visiting with friends and relatives. She is survived by her son, Tristan Henry of Wapato; four grandchildren; two brothers, Benjamin and Ronnie Quaempts both of Yakima; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, LaToya and one brother. Dressing services will be at the 1910 Shaker Church on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 2PM with overnight services following.
