Victor L. Kahama (84) of Toppenish passed away on December 12, 2018 in Toppenish. He was born in Tacoma on August 7, 1934 to Ernest and Agnes (Bill) Kahama. He was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation who was raised and educated on the Satus. He served in the Navy and worked as a carpenter and a caregiver. He enjoyed traditional dancing, pow wow's and fishing. He was a member of the Yakama Warriors. Victor is survived by his sister, Maxine Kahama Hamilton of White Swan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Funeral services will be held at the White Swan Community Center on Monday December 17, 2018 at 9AM with burial to follow at the Reservation Community Memorial Park west of Wapato. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
